Overview
Cardinals Care (Project AWARE) is a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI)-awarded grant that has the primary focus of building regional capacity to support the implementation of Comprehensive School Mental Health Systems in schools and districts across the state. The primary objectives of Cardinals Care include increasing the capacity to connect children and youth with appropriate school and community mental health services. Increase mental health literacy for students, staff, and the community. Focus on partnerships and collaboration between state, regional, and local systems to promote the health development of school-aged youth. Build regional capacity to support the Comprehensive School Mental Health System implementation.
