Upcoming Referendum: Our Community, Our School
The School District of Crandon has a long tradition of serving students, families, and the community with pride. As our facilities age and our educational needs evolve, we are planning for the future to ensure our schools remain safe, functional, and a supportive learning environment for our staff and students.
On the upcoming referendum ballot on April 7th, 2026, our community will have the opportunity to consider a proposal to sustain existing school operations. This referendum is intended to support what is currently in place, not to expand programs or construct new facilities, while supporting careful, long-term financial planning.
As school funding at the state and federal levels continues to fluctuate and our facilities age and educational needs evolve, the district is focused on maintaining current programs, services, and school operations. Throughout this work, we are committed to being careful stewards of taxpayer dollars by prioritizing essential needs and planning responsibly to ensure our schools remain safe, functional, and supportive learning environments for students and staff.
Because our schools are supported by our community, we believe open communication is essential. We invite residents to attend upcoming referendum listening sessions to learn more, ask questions, and share feedback. Community presentations are listed on the right side of this page, with additional dates to be scheduled.
We encourage you to visit this page regularly for updates, key information, and opportunities to stay informed. Working together, our community and our school, we can make thoughtful, informed decisions about the future of our schools.
