The Crandon Elementary School serves students in grades 4K-5 and it is also the new home of the Crandon Head Start Program for students ages 3 and 4. Classes for students in grades K-5 will begin at 7:57 A.M. on Tuesday, September 2nd and end at 3:15 P.M.
At the elementary level we strive for academic excellence in all areas and over the past three years we have made great gains in the areas of math and reading achievement. Our staff is committed to ensuring that all students learn more and we support that effort through Prevention, Intervention, and Enrichment Time for reading and math so that all students get instruction at their skill level. The Crandon Elementary School is also a PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) School of Merit for the second year in a row which means that we demonstrate excellence in the way we show peace, respect, integrity, dedication, and excellence in everything we do.
